Little known fact. Flickr actually already perform some enhancements on the photos that are shown to the end user.
 
Still it doesn't say whether Tumblr has accepted it or not. That remains to be seen. Though its an offer too hard to resist.
 
I imagine Yahoo Board only got involved once Yahoo and Tumblr settled on a figure. So, I am guessing the deal is more or less done and should be announced tomorrow.
 
If that's the case, then I am expecting a huge outrage. 😛 From a user's point its not very appealing. Yahoo! is hardly considered cool. And Tumblr, well for its die hard users, its even better than Facebook or any other social network.
 


I wonder if Yahoo sent out this mailer to EVERYONE. Coz, I have indeed logged into my Yahoo account in the recent past and this warning makes no sense to me.
 
Very good strategy to mail people who login frequently asking them to login even more frequently /s
