According to the key note structure I can find that it is too much developer-centric.
[No mention of the updated Nexus 7 or Nexus 4 Hardware]

Sundar Pichai has already said that this edition of I/O is focused on developers and there are going to be few launches this time around.

errm i mean there is an official app for android devices. mobile website would work on other platforms. it would be broadcasted live on the google developers website.


as of now it starts in 7 hours and 20 minutes. of course this is not a media event which would last for a few hours. it would continue for a few days.
 
Not sure. Maybe the app shows the time of the start for the first event. And the website shows the time of the start of the conference?
