After many years of satisfied usage, Seems Reliance Netconnect Plus doesn't wants to run smoothly anymore.....
Since last couple of months Netconnect Plus modem looses connectivity after 40-50 minutes of power failure in my area, this continued for a couple of weeks and I was quite sure the serving BTC(Tower) battery has reached end of it life-cycle and would need replacement.
Had this issue with BSNL Broadband and took them few months to arrange the replacement.
I tried hell hard to explain this to customer care guys, but guess what, No Matter how experienced you are with network and usage, you will always be projected as "IDIOT" by the customer care.
they kept giving crap answers, and on email they kept explaining how I should use hybrid mode. WTF
can you even check Gmail on hybrid mode, they are even worse than 64kbps FUP plans from other operators.
If this was not enough, Now it just keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting, like a loop every other second.
and whenever this happens, if you goto check your prepaid balance, it would show
Dear Customer, Unable to check your account balance , Please try after some time.
This would continue for 6-8 hours at least and you are fu**ed all sides on your work and patience.
What made me stick to Netconnect all these years was Rs.98/1GB which I use for day to day work,
Other options are Aircel but it would cost hell lot more for my 25-30GB a month usage which does NOT include any downloads of
movies or any torrent thing, This is all browser and 1-2 software I need to run for work.
May Be I am in a wrong town, wrong locality or even wrong phase of life where all productivity is going waste due to most of the time struggling to stay online without any fu*kups.
Going back to BSNL is not possible as its already works someday kinda service since last 1+ years and friends who have regret of having it but their limited usage lets them stay connected (sometimes) @ Rs.250/mo.
Requested Reliance, but as usual its not serviceable area.In a 5 km Radius City operators still go for selected areas, what a great marketing, they squeeze b@*ls of sales guys for numbers when they leave a entire part of town un-covered.
Asked Tikona but its not available in this area, they could have 100 connections in a week in this area, but they need me to fetch the first 6-8 connections before they bring a node here.
What a curse of Internet.
Feel like leaving this town, but I've no where to go, feel like starting a new work but I don't have connectivity...
