New Sify Broadband Speeds

Yesterday it was down when i came from work...kinda strangeYesterdaymorning, i checked speed: MAX 3kB/s I left it on downloading all day.. i came home late evening,around 10:30pm, and it was still downloading @ 2.8kB/s I restarted my comp and after that i couldnt login anymore , some error and it was totally deadNow , today,this morning, checking internet again: it worked and now @ 7 ~8.5kB/s i wonder what these guys are doing over there...

Anything can be the cause,

u know that we are really being stupid, talking about 1 or 2kB/s more or less ?

Where i come from we only 'whine' about the connection if theres a difference of 200kB/sec :lol: if u get 500 insted of 800kB/s

( i know, this is India, but still.. )

Before this "powerfull upgrade" i reached almost 5kB/s so... almost teh same

Just devide the kbps by 8 and then u get kiloBytes... that will be your speed then

Right now im jealous @ that screenshot, u get at least 0.15kB/s more then me
 
well....how can i say itits back to normal.. jus like that .. downloading @ 8kB/s :mellow:
 

me and my sad life. i would spend it doing better things than to cry over sify's incompetence 😀
 
damn, i want to fry sify's stinking @$$ so badly... i was logging in with the old web based interface and i rarely touched 4KBps. i for fun sake logged in with the new client and i touch 7KBps easily.2 days, i spent sitting like an @$$ here waiting for some magic to happen. 🙁

loli could have sworn that i saw 7 SEP 04 a while agoBut it amazes me, u still are able to logon through the browser..for me that is already impossible.. i cannot do that anymore,...
 
hey people.. Sush I checked your sites and the access time is ok.. actually it's above average... and i dunno about the new client.. i am using the web interface and am still touching 8-10 kbps normally.. i want to know whether it is even legal for sify to claim that their service is a broadband one?? and now i'm stuck with this service because i paid 3500 bucks worth of hard earned money to get this installed!! f$$$ SIFY and their broadband.. anyways is that money refundable or what?? :angry:
 
duh, it s*cks here. i will wait till monday and call the guys to show me from which angle it is close to 32kbps.
