I recently surrendered my Airtel connection (A LandLine + DSL - Broadband Internet). I submitted the surrender letter personally to the showroom, had it acknowledged with their seal and signature. But they never treated the connection as “surrendered”. The [email protected]#%$#s are trying to outsmart me by sending bills for days beyond the surrender date (25+ inactive days). I also paid them all dues, ie. All bills generated till date of surrender. I gave a current dated cheque at the time of surrender itself.I even offered them to pay my unbilled amount, at the time of surrender. They said that they will send a seperate bill at the end of the month for those unbilled period (5 days approx)I guess this is what is happening to anynoe goin through any exit phase.
