Mtnl Logs..terrible Problem

Hello ppl..i m facing a terrible problem with my logs....I use DSL NU 256kb/sAfter 11 or so..if i reboot my PC..the next day..the mntl log page shows..two simultaneous connectionseg. 11.30 - 8.05 197mb 11.30-8.05 7 mbout of which only the second one is correct..since i hve no networking goin on untill 12 after which the DSL NU starts..the reboot at 12 is also not recorded by mtnl...this has happened at thrice now..and i hve lost around 400mbs...wat do u reckon is the problem??
 
i think 197 mb is download at night time.. after 12 (on MTNL server).. i dont think it iscounted.what must be happening is ur 12AM (when u reboot) is abt 5-7 mins earlier thanMTNL 12AM. You reboot at ur 12AM and start download and then whatever u downloadin that 5-7 mins..goes as 7MB. and after 12AM of MTNL its not counted i.e. 197MB.so two entries. always reboot at 12:10AM or 00:10 and reboot again at 07:50 AMto be safe.
 
Go to the AOTR officer with the bill .Expalin whats wrong and get the rebate!Next tme Switch off router for 1 minute at 00:00 am and then restart...In order to avoid the problem.
 
have done enough checking to figure out that it doesnt really matter whether you switch on at 1155 or 1205.Only the mb downloaded before 12 and after 8 are billed.Creating a session before or after the midnight mark doesnt have an effect.Though as pointed out generally people switch on bridge mode and schedule their net thingy just to be on the safe side.Go to the mtnl office though, it should be sorted out.
