Is Anyone Else Experiencing Dns Error?

have faced a lot of dns issues considering i move on from one host to another and have to check if the sites are working on the new server. and i need to have the freshest dns servers to save time...cleaning cache helps a lot as i tend to get access to the latest server for a website. in other cases, i have to rely on dnsstuff.
 
I am having a strange problem. My connection is not at all stabel for the last few hours. The speed jumps to 30-32 then drops to 0 . troughs and peaks.
Can someone suggest something
 
is dsl light on modem stable?check phone line disturbance? is it high? if yes complain telephone dept.
 
the light is stable and there is no disturbance
 

i switched to opendns yesterday.. bsnl dns servers were causing me a lot of problems.. the page itself would open quickly but firefox used to be stuck at "Looking up www.xyz.com" for a long time.. those problems have been resolved now.. thank you, whoever mentioned opendns.. i didnt know about it before 😀
