Seventymm Shopping User experiences

Quantium's Tracker is working finally but I am not sure whether its going back to Seventymm. Looks like it though. Man but if I had known the package was so near to where I live, I would have gone there easily to try and collect it. :O Anyways going by their fb page, I can never be sure whether they were sending the correct item anyway.

Also I got an email yesterday night that my shipment has been delayed. :nonchalance:

Hard luck bro.i guess you have spent too much time and money on this thing..and its disappointing for us the customers...i hope u get that package..dont forget to write a blog with filthy tags for 70mm 😀

As of now, I don't want the package. Going by the accounts of customers on their fb page, if I get a wrong or defective item, I don't want a mess again trying to get the correct item or get a refund. Plus Quantium already stated its condition on the delivery. I just want a refund and have told them so. Am just hoping this redirected status is actually for that purpose only.

Quantium confirmed that the package is going back to Seventymm. Some Hope. 😛leasantry:

Package returned to Seventymm. Got the order cancellation confirmation. Wait for the refund starts. Phew.

Status Report
I called the Guy on 18 March, He said I will check and revert back to you. Got 2 sms regarding my refund. I thought atleast now I can expect my refund. Waited for a week more and called him again. Customer Guy says, wait I will check with the finance department and check. Called again and he said give me a day and I will check again.
Called today and now he says our company is restructuring and we have more than 70 orders in line. Wait till 14 April and we will clear all our backlog. Asked me to check back then.
Gosh the amount is just Rs 1593. How much more time? Only positive thing is that the guy I call picks my call everytime and this gives me some hope. Otherwise I don't think I am ever gonna see that money back again.

Seventymm likely to Shut Down

One of the sources said “SeventyMM needs capital to continue its operation, however it has failed to raise another round and hence closing down is the only option.” On condition of anonymity, one of the leading hiring agency based out of Bangalore said “Unlike a year back, currently employees of various ecommerce, usually, which are struggling to raise more $$ s are looking desperately for opportunities, fearing possible shut down and massive layoff.”

As a vendor to seventymm since they started ecommerce ( Have still some 8K Bills pending. lol ) I had been closely following up the developments. Though it was decided that company will shut down once CEO Mr Khosla switched to Tradus, still there were hopes of a buyout. Staff was downsized to 10% 3 months back.

Finally. After 2+ months I got the refund today. 😀 The Chapter is over.
