Sounds like a line problem to me...call CC and ask em to send some personnel.
Try connecting without the splitter and see if the connection is stable...

hmmm, I just started having this problem a couple of days ago... but now it seems to have solved itself.... probably Airtel's technicians doing some backend work. Try giving it a couple of days, otherwise call CC.

Hi vebmetal, It seems ur modem firmware has been corrupt.. call cc to send some engineer to upgrade the firmware of ur modem...also confirm with the engineer that how far ur location is from the RSU/DSLAM... because this kind of problem also happens when ur location is far more than 3 KMS from the DSLAM/RSU..if ur location is situated more than 3 kms far from DSLAM/RSU, nobody can help you out in this matter.. if you have any other query, please do reply back

Any idea then if they change DSLAM locations? Because I never had a problem until now. (it's probably the modem's firmware anyway, but still, do they change locations?)

Nope, a DSLAM, once established at any location, its very costly to change the location of a DSLAM plus, it will create problem to all the customers who are connected to that particular DSLAM.. generally company doesnot transfer DLSAMs from one place to another until there is no other way to escape it.
