please guys help me out i will be greatful

^ you should have given the modem number ...anyway , if there is a reset hole at the back ofthe modem then 1) power on the modem 2) usea safety pin to push a switch inside reset holefor abt 10 seconds 3)use pppoe dialer ( / makea new internet connection if using windows XP )to connect to the net .

Hi seshu ,no my problem is this I have already created a PPPOE dialer but i am not able to login using this it is giving the error remote computer not responding.but but .... I went to the 192.168.1.1 page and went to WAN and configured and entered my ppp username and password ,it shows a IP address ,and i am able to browse the internet .so i wanted a suggestion as to how to Dial and connect option ,so I hope i was able to explain my problem in detail.

HI guys please help me ,I am sick of having a single IPaddress ,25 persons have viewed the post but no one is willing to help please guys anyone ,It would help others also.. 🙁

Hi guys so I find out myself atlast how to configure the settings for the adsl2 beetel 220bx modem ,so i would like to share it with you guys hope its useful

To login using dialer method(You will get dynamic ip's)
1)First login to http://192.168.1.1 or whatever similar type address feed the username and password.

2)Go to WAN settings > select add >set vpi 1 and vci to 32 >press next>in the connection type select bridging and encapsulation method LLC/snap-bridging>next >enable i.e check the box to enable WAN service >press next >save your settings just reboot your modem.

3)Create a Dialer with PPPOE account feed your username and password and just dial and the connection is established.(please remember your preffered DNS and primary DNS you need them ,no need to enter the ip address bar obtain automatically while creating a dialer)

IF you dont want a Dialer and just Too bored to dial you can just repeat the steps except the slight change in the 2nd step

2)go to WAN settings>select add>set vpi 1 and vci 32>press next > in the connection type select PPPOE and encapsulation method LLC/snap >next>feed your USER name and password and connection name >next enable WAN >next >save and reboot your modem.

Hey I found out that IF you do the first method we never see the Nat and firewall and DMZ and all such extra tweaks in the http:// 192.168.1.1/main.html of your modem configuration ,But if you opted for the second method it was possible to FORWARD THE PORT and enable FIREWALL etc...

So i guess this will be useful if anyone of you guys happen to mess with the configurations. 😀
