If you are upgrading from ES1 to ES2, you may want to do the following,if you have login problems.Option A 1) Enable Force Mac option in ES2. Leave it blank or enter "00-00-00-00-00-00". If that doesnt work, then try the following OPTION B a) Goto command prompt using "cmd" in run dialog. B) type "ipconfig /all" c) Copy the physical address parameter. d) Enable force mac in ES2. e) Insert the copied physicaal address parameter in the mac option text box.

There is a permanent solution. Ask Sify to reset your mac settings. Just tell them you changed your network card and are unable to login or something like that.

Otherwise, if its working fine, then just let it be.

I found out why ES2 is having trouble loging in. Its because ES2 retrieves mac address without hex padding, i.e if you mac is actually 9C-39-02-.... ES2 retrieves it as 9C-39-2-... Notice that the Zero is missing. Thats is what is causing problems. I will fix this in the next release.

Thanks for the solution Bhaskar 🙂. It works for me too now and I have shifted from EasySify 1 to EasySify 2.

Hi Bhaskar ..I am sorry to be replying after such a long time now...The problem is I am still unable to use easysify2 ...After reading this thread .... this is what i did..1}Put the SAM and PORT settings u mentioned on your website..2}Put 00-00-00-00-00-00 as force mac to..3}Put my Username and p@$$ After doing this I was able to login and surf....but that was 2 days back..Since then i am unable to use easysify2 ...gives error like Socket Creation error and sometimes Hangs on the message Authenticating user with Sify... Also easysify1 never causes any probs ....plese help

gauravtyagi, have you tried filling in your actual mac address in the force mac address box, gotten from running ipconfig in a command prompt or winipcfg from start>run?
