Xp Ics Using Mtnl Connection Over Ad-hoc Wi-fi?

Hi,Searched everywhere for an answer but maybe I'm just dumb. 🙁 I have my laptop connected to my desktop using an ad-hoc wireless connection (no router or AP)I want to share the MTNL connection on my desktop with my laptopSwitching on ICS changes the IP settings on my LAN card and the MTNL connection stops workingIs there something simple I'm missing or is this just not possible?Any help appreciated.newlight
