Yes, and the best part will be that Ubuntu for Phones would support HTML5 Web apps. So, anyone can build apps in a jiffy. Currently, apps like Cleartrip, Flipkart, etc use HTML5 for Android. Of course, native apps will be faster and better.
bootloader main issue. i been breaking my head past 3-4 weeks wrt to bootloader. else its easy. get a dumb phone, then jtag the device. i guess i can port linux, but it will be debian. :-D not ubuntu.
