Boss is currently my best show. Been watching it from episode 1 last year. The script is awesome + acting by all the actors is amazing.too bad it has only 10 episodes. this year's season was freaking amazing. once again kelsey will bag the golden globe award for this role next year

i watched 18 episodes in two days. reason why i was missing from the forum :\

Then the impact must have been even greater. 3rd season has not been ordered till now,but hopefully it will get

just could not stop myself leaving in the middle! too bad i would now have to wait for another year to get access to the next season 😀

felt pretty bad for the journalist. every enemy gets burned very badly by the mayor

haha. he still has that usb drive. and sad thing is looking at his incurable disease i guess they would have to wrap it up after season 3! i mean it would look stupid if they can continue to cure his health issues in every season temporarily!

That is, if it gets renewed.

I didn't find this show anything special. Kelsey Grammer is outstanding but otherwise it's nothing much to write home about. I dropped this show after the first season.

lol. what is not special about this show! excellent portrayal of city level politics. enough sex/nudity. 😀

As predicted, Boss has been cancelled by Starz, according to an official statement from the network. They are toying with the idea of a two-hour movie to wrap up the storyline.

If it was on HBO or Showtime it would have run for many seasons & got the ratings it deserved.

Not necessarily but why do you think that would have been the case?

Starz, HBO, Showtime are premium cable channels. Starz has 20 million subscribers in the U.S., Showtime has 21 million, HBO has 29 million. The difference is not significant enough to cause a dent on the adult 18-49 ratings.

HBO is quite well established and has a history of many "Superhit" shows spanning more than a Decade.Showtime has many shows like dexter, californication, weeds running for many years. On the other hand Starz has just "spartacus". so it does not commands the same brand value has the other 2

HBO is 40 years old now. Showtime has quite a few hit shows. On the other hand, Starz has just a handful of original programming. It's all true but there's not a lot of difference in the subscribers base. People don't subscribe to a premium cable channel if they don't intend to watch.Even on Starz, Spartacus gets a lot better ratings. Homeland and Dexter only pull 2 million viewers on Showtime and those are hit shows. Even on HBO, the ratings for Game of Thrones hit through the roof while a good show like Luck draws less than a million viewers. Boss is like Luck. In my opinion, Kelsey Grammer gave a compelling performance and I'd like to see him on serious roles like this. But, Boss as a whole flattered to deceive.
