Slow speed issue in tata photon +

Staying in an underdeveloped place like Nagpur is that there are almost zero options for Internet here,Internet speeds are 10 years behind rest of India and NO BROADBAND is available except BSNL. I contacted Tata Photon Plus CC and they said if you are not happy with speed then remove connection ,they also said I have congestion in my area and NOTHING CAN BE DONE.

I then tested another photon plus dongle in my flat and it showed 2 mbps which means that there has been intentional capping of speed from 2 mbps to 350 kbps (80% capping) in my dongle ,I really don't know what to do,it is very frustrating to hear their lies and the behaviour is extremely bad too.
 
If you gave pan card copy at time of opting the connection then better disconnect than not pay bill.
 
Totally agreed. Same thing is happening with me. Gonna get photon disconnected tomorrow.
 


The speed is now at 12kBPS, I pay 1112 Rs for 120 Hours per month and when I called them twice they sayed " Why wait? disconnect our connection right now sir!" the audacity!!!
 
tata got entangled in their own web,they introduced Time based plans thinking Indian people will never be able to utilize it and when they found out that they were wrong,they have started forcing the customers to quit their subscriptions,otherwise how come the CC people are requesting to submit the device repeatedly if instructions are not given

No steps taken by TATA,I got a call after 1 week saying you have network problems in your area (It's a lie as other capped photon devices in my home are working fine) and they also added that there is no guarantee that it will ever be ok, they sent me an sms saying "you are free to try your device in other areas,thank you"
