Adobe Reader for Google Android

my dad and an uncle. never have used office really. they can make sense out of google docs just fine.

i actually do use google docs for the little spreadsheet work i need to do sometimes. excel/calc just feel too complicated for my needs.

i do not like google documents much because it does not handle grammar search well. also it is annoying to use on a widescreen display as i cannot resize the page. resizing the tab resizes everything 😀

Ok try to format cell with datetime, apply some diff datetime format, share the result. Place two date values in two different cells, get the difference in 3rd cell. If you still wont find the bugs and difference between ms and open , i will upload a excel sheet with data, try same data on open office.



again. this is not the kind of stuff a regular person would do. i am talking about people who mostly use these apps for 'reading documents' or at max writing some applications or letters etc. 🙂

Bro, excel is meant to be used for calculations, isn't it? Be a normal user or advance excel user.

You know one of the reason my dad uses Excel for? To prepare ration list to be given to the grocery store 😀

@sabir bro I have a simple excel sheet with some normal calculations, but at office, tomorrow will upload it and share with you, please try same with open office. Abhi yaha aise nahi Bata paaunga... what I am trying to say. Meanwhile you can try lookup function,see if it results corectly.Why when he can do with word, why excel?

ration list would include basic calculations. even google docs can manage that. i am sure calc can handle them just as well 😀

Hmm ok.. no probs..Will try once back home from office tomorrow. And I have LibreOffice (just to be technically correct).And.. I guess after seeing, we can debate on whether thats normal user or advanced user calculations. Also, myself/admin are saying MS-Office is the best for advanced users, its the basic/normal usage for which Libre/Open etc should be sufficient.

Hehe.. Dont worry about that, am not a bad guy and office is secured with corporate firewall and anti virus, so it will not let it go without cleaning. 😀
