Even those tournaments have some affiliation with the national boards and ICC. So umpires will be cautious. Here the approach seems to be more for a casual unofficial tournament from an unaffiliated sports management company , something like ICL.

in that case fixing is ok .............ok

I have mentioned this before - it is likely to exist somewhat in domestic & unofficial tournaments & if you read the articles and news, here umpires were ready to leak team, pitch & weather info for as low as 10000 Rs. Thats not even peanuts if you compare the big league.

Umpiring sting operation : Umpires named in sting operation suspended | Cricket News | Global | ESPN Cricinfo

The ICC and the cricket boards of Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed not to appoint any of the umpires named in the sting operation, recently conducted by India TV, for domestic or international matches pending the outcome of the investigations alleging that the umpires had agreed to accept money to give decisions favouring certain players.

The sting named six umpires: Nadir Shah (Bangladesh), Nadeem Ghauri and Anis Siddiqui (Pakistan), and Sagara Gallage, Maurice Winston Zilwa and Gamini Dissanayake (Sri Lanka). All have, in various media interviews, denied their involvement in match-fixing.

In its statement on Wednesday, the ICC said that the umpires named were not contracted by them and so it was the responsibility of the respective cricket boards to conduct the investigations urgently.

Think about this...... Local league's fixed or info leaks in 10k........... International matches fixed in.......? 😱😛😀

Sure...similarly... local leagues fixing.. unlikely to come out or get caught or even noticed... International fixing.. banned/disgraced for life and likely jail term.

like law is supposed to jail/disgrace corrupt politicians??? what if top most management is faking probes , and they just are the big beneficiaries of all this??? who will be caught or not will be in their hands.............

A lot of big players have been caught . Once they are caught, they could have easily brought down the management.Aamir, Asif & Butt have been to jail. So have been a couple of domestic county players. Others have been banned/disgraced - Cronje, Azhar, Ajay Sharma. Others live with a tarnished reputation - Gibbs, Ajay Jadeja etc

if only they knew who was behind all this.............they really could have brought the management .deceiving is done in such a clever way that the pawns dont know who is the boss.ipl is an example in my view, lalit modi made it all happening and big and he is out . if u have a gold egg giving hen, you would exploit it for sure. by deceiving the system , you could do it because u ARE THE SYSTEM.

If fixing was the main agenda of ICC, then i dont think the fixing that has been unearthed till date, wud have actually been unearthed. May be the person who tried that, would have been eliminated......may be similar to Woolmer. Now why he was eliminated? Well, thats Pakistan cricket for u. Its a sort of gutter there, given their nation's condition. Anyone taking up their job, has to write his will first & if he is not a Pakistani, then his nation's laws should permit suicides. As far as the leagues are concerned, even if its fixed, i dont think ICC shud give a damn to it. Leagues are a total non-sense. ICC knows that a cricket lover will always avoid it. Obviously, u wont like to see ur "love" getting screwed by someone, do u? 😛 In order to protect the game lover's sentiments, ICC is doing enough i believe to curb it in the internationals.
