Utstarcom Router Power Switch Problem

Hi there well ive got this UTstarcom Adsl router from mtnl for the NU plan back in april 2006.Ive been using the router power switch to shut down/start the router ,now this switch is malfunctioning it just wont power up sometimes even if the switch is depressed it looks like its got itself a loose connection.Tried complaining this to mtnl but the line is always busy will have to keep trying anyways does anybody else had these problems will i be able to get a replacement or have i got to stay with this router for life cause you know its a govt co. 😛 🤔

take ur modem to ur exchange and they generally replace it if u can convince them that its faulty.dont wait for engg to come to ur home and check it.. go urself.
