Thats exactly what i posted...FYI i'm not a noob and most likely i'm far better than you.

+ 1 to above suggestion, if possible talk to someone at exchange and ask them to help.

@OP .. looks like you are on the older NIB1 which gives 59.9x.xx.xx range of IPs to their customers. I am also on it and same plan as yours. For getting the 1mbps till 6GB you will have to complain to them and they will most likely shift you to the newer 117.xx.xx.xx series ie NIB2. Only then you will get the right plan speed. That also means they will issue you a new id,pass. I didnt bother as it was only 6GB. 😛

I am also a 750 ul combo plan I am getting 1mbps as of tonight this got me scratching as I could watch u tube videos with 360p before which I could not I need to check up on these plans now

I saw this on 2 oct. As I mentioned before I too am on the older 59.x.x.x IPs and since 2 oct I am getting 1mbps. I thought they finally fixed it for us old NIB1 users and for the next 6GB I will get 1mbps and then switch back to 512kbps. But it hasnt yet happened.I have crossed 6GB mark 😛

Same predicament. But on Oct 3rd I got speeds of 1 Mbps until 10 Gb 🙂. The IP was on NIB-I and didn't change.
Finished the 10Gb usage and now back to 512 Kbps speeds. Looks like a win-win for me. NIB-I is far stable than NIB-II.

Will check and see next month if the speed change is permanent.

^ aww 10GB 🙁 I thought bsnl did the impossible and finally its 1mbps UL time no FUP 😛
