Problem In Tata Sky

Tell them to get one for u from any other region where they r available.
Mine was couriered from Mumbai.....
Facing no problem in HUMAX......
 
I don't think they have HUMAX STB's anywhere anymore.I asked them and they said that there are no more STB"s.What they told me it that the STB is like a computer. Once you turn it on you have to wait a few minutes and then the picture will be the same.

Tell me one thing wen u start ur STB (Digicomp) from stand by mode, then only u must b facing problem like freezing of images and as soon u change the channel ur problem is corrected? Right..
And wen digicomp is totally off from the adapter and u switch on the digicomp and ur TV, u may not b facing the problem. Everything starts smoothly and channel u get is 101....Right...

Then ofcourse their is problem if this happens. I was facing this problem..
This happens bcos wen digicomp is made on from standby mode its video frequencies to TV r mismatched for some time.

Switching to HUMAX may surely solve this problem..

Yeah exactly what happens.
 
Hello. I found that the aspect ratio in picture settings may also result in the kind of problems that are being discussed in this thread. Try cycling between 4:3 and 16:9 (hope i got them correct) ratios and see if it helps. From what I have read here, the problem sounds more complex but this is just a thought.

Did anyone got their STB'S replaced with the HUMAX stb's? Those who were facing problem with the THOMSON one....No one replied regarding it......Mine HUMAX stb is working fine....Have no problems now....Thomson stb's SUCKS......
 
Yeah but they all says its out and each time they provide us with a Thomson STB!

Yes in my case also they changed my stb to Thomson 3 times....But problem did not got corrected so finally they got me a HUMAX stb n my problem was solved....
 
In my case... they came and changed it once. Then they saw the problem again and said it is like a computer which takes time to start up. Then they said if you load it up and wait for a few minutes then it will work. So they are not replacing mine again.

Hey they r fooling u by saying so....
Thn why in my case when stb was changed to HUMAX, my problem was solved.
Its very clear that Thomson does not support video frquency with some TV models....
I do not have to wait for any loading stuff......with my HUMAX stb.
Just have to wait till red light stablizes thats it...wen totally switched off from the main supply....

Firsly wen I had Thomson stb wenever I used to on the digicomp from standby mode i.e wen it was just turned off from the remote....I used to get freezed images every time...till I change the channel....
And that was the fault....
 
Tata Sky chaps changed my stb; unfortunately with thompson only... claimed that it was impossible 2 give humax..now 3 weeks since the new stbs and problems again...The whole stb just freezes now... @ a particular channel with the fingerprint frozen on the screen.u cant use the remote anymore... just does not respond.. have to power of the mains to get it working again..These problems seem 2 turn up whn watching an active channel for excessive periods i.e during a match!I have 2 Sony wegas and problems occurs with bothThis time.. im gotta make sure they give a new HUMAX or pack their system and take it.Anyone else with sony tv specifically having problems?

My frnd was facing problem with THOMSON and his stb was changed to HUMAX in just 2 days.......
 
The biggest problem in Tata Sky is that it sucks... I saw the picture quality in a showroom, and suffice it to say I wish more people sued companies in India... DVD quality my *ss....
