On one side you say browsers are turning into full fledged platforms. And on other side you say features in firefox i mentioned are not needed in chrome.

Ask any developer and they will say that powerful Add-on system is infact a MUST if you want to develop a full fledged platform.

Your arguments dont meet ends. Its like this - use 1 argument to counter 1 point and use opposite argument to counter another point.

in one post you say those features are not needed and chrome is not going to catch up and in next you say, it will be added after 2yrs.. didnt i say that already? that after 2yrs ppl will see same features and go AWE over chrome. Forgetting abt this post completely.

And mark my words, chrome will eventually develop upgrade to their current powerless add on system. There is no way they can ignore this fact.

I know eventually i would be proven as loser in this argument. Because currently people are completely unaware of features Firefox provide because mozilla simply does not have funds or marketing capacity. And after 2yrs since people will not see much of firefox, and same features would be there in chrome, you guys will have more power to tell me on face- "didnt i tell you that firefox is no match to chrome!"

Someone needs a new sarcasm detector

UI is as important as any other feature otherwise guddy maruti would have been heroin like kareena. 😀Being a normal user I have to use both browser for different purpose, somewhere I find chrome matching my requirements and somewhere FF. For heavy or important download I use firefox bcoz sometime I have seen chrom breaking up downloads for no/whatsoever reason, sometimes problem with opening sites which are java enabled.FF on other hand is somehow memory eater and not as lite as chrome, may be the memory management technique is different from chrome. I noticed chrome runs add ons as separate process while ff run add ons on its memory space. Cant say for new versions need to check new FF if it became memory friendly or still RAM hungry.

FF on Android 4.2 is a mess. keeps on crashing every 2 seconds. Was working perfectly in 4.1.2

get the aurora build. it worked great for me when i was playing with it. got bored eventually.

right. i guess the latest stable update included fixes for android 4.2 as well.i wonder though, why would anyone use firefox over so many alternatives out there? 😀
