Tele Marketer Abusing . What to do ?

I received a phone call on my mtnl landline from some guy selling reliance life insurance . his number is 1409807687 and 1409807688 .. i told him not to disturb me and get lost . now he is calling me up every 5 minutes and abusing me . i also abused him . but now this is getting irritating . what to do ??
 
If you did not register your number in "Do Not Disturb" registry, there are less possibilities to take any action against him. Send start to 1909 to registerIf your number is in registered for do not disturb, you can register complaint to TRAI. Send an SMS in this format: COMP TEL NO XXXXXXXXXX;dd/mm/yy;hh:mm;short description to 1909
 
i just activated the dnd on landline .. thats ok .. but this guy is calling every 5 mins and abusing me ? so lodge a police complaint ?

hes recorded me abusing him back . but i cannot record its a landline . so how to record ?
 

Well even if he's recorded you abusing him , its his fault. Just go to nearest police station and ask that SI or CI or someone in charge to call that insurance agent's number and warn him not to disturb you. Usually they won't call you again.
 
Say sorry to him for abusing and request not to drag it further... only that can end the story peacefully if you abused him and he has recorded.
 
Offtopic: Why don't you get tata indicom walky or reliance wireless landline if you want a landline at your home? The basic model costs 900bucks and it has this call blocking function.

No need to worry if you cannot record, just lodge complaint

already did this , he still kept on calling ..

if he calls once more i am definately going to the cops ..
 
Just tell him that you have registered a complaint with police and your number is under there observation. I don't think he will dare to call you again.

Man my mtnl number is 10 years old .. everyone in our family , friends has it .. not possible to change now 🙁
 
Oh! I thought you abused him first after getting irritated by frequent calls. But still try to solve the problem keeping your cool.. Off course you have police option you can go anytime.
