People who are finding petrol prices absurd, will get relief buying a 70 lac car?

Dunno what is so outstanding about Ather bikes, but they cost close to 2 lakhs.

Wagon R electric could be around 10L... Should check rumored pricing.

Tata is also launching Altroz EV, that should be around 10 lacs.

Unlike developed countries, we still produce most of our electricity from coal so they will probably be worse than petrol cars environmentally in india.

In any case, once electric cars become popular, there will be a Atma Nirbhar/Farmer Help/Ram Mandir cess on electricity as well so that the government makes the same amount of money

hehe. i doubt anyone buying an electric car is buying them for the environment. i personally hope that if i ever replace my 7-year old i10, it would be an electric car. electricity is expensive (so is the initial cost of buying an electric car) but it is still hell cheaper running and owning an electric car.
