335 MB RAM? Impressive! No I am not being sarcastic. If they can run WP8 on 335 MB RAM, that is impressive indeed.

this is a rumored prototype device. i am not sure why you found it so offensive in nature.also, this is not a win 8 phone. this is a windows phone 8 phone.

well you do know that none of the current generation devices would run windows phone 8. so that does not have any relevance here.

is 335MB free ram available or total ram??? I ask this coz 335MB seems to be a pretty odd number... I would have guessed the ram would be in multiples of 64 or 128(like 256 or 512 or even 256+128=384)... Anyway even if it is 512MB it would be disappointing coz the Lumia 8xx series is positioned in the more higher end side(25k plus)... Therefore I would expect atleast a gig of ram in it... 512MB is fine is the 6xx or 7xx series...

For relevance thingy a 256MB prototype can be used too.But some apps wont run on 256MB , so more likely windows 8 phone will fall in higher budget phones.

microsoft has a major problem in their hands if windows phone 8 cannot run devices that can be sold in the budget segment of the market. i mean they do not have the option to continue selling devices based on tango right? or maybe they would do just that?

Well you or even others wont be surprised if Nokia launches a WP tango lumia device with pure view technology 😛, just saying. But its more about MS and Apple in next month with windows 8 OS, surface, WP 8 phone launch, office , windows 7 SP2 and the iPhone 5!

so you are indicating that there is a possibility of a Nokia wp tango device with pureview technology? is it even possible? i mean the only reason to use tango is to have a device with 256MB RAM. and i really doubt this much RAM on WP would be able to handle PureView camera.

Pureview camera uses a separate GPU too and no it can never be implemented with a 256mb ram phone , they will surely like to put that into higher budget phone as they are loosing thr market share in that range.

Nokia is pretty much like maruti in the indian market today. people would not pay a premium for nokia branded devices unless they can change that image perception. samsung and the gang has changed everything for nokia in the indian market. how many people do you see carrying a nokia phone around today?

Well i travel by metro and i see fair amount of people carrying Nokia devices , most carry samsung. Lumia is getting a fair attention too and Nokia 808 only thrice 😛Sadly Nokia has nothing to offer at 25K+ :hopelessness: , they are not doing well in European countries either.

lol. you are saying like Nokia does not have a device priced over Rs. 25+. from what i see, they cannot really sell anything above 20-25K segment because no one would touch them here. good to see that at least someone is buying the 808 considering india is one of the few markets where they are selling it.nokia messed up when they discarded meego. nokia messed up when they picked windows phone over android. nokia messed up when they launched only a few models running windows phone. nokia messed up because they had nothing to offer in the budget segment market until tango came along. nokia messed up because they launched just ONE model making use of what Tango delivered.
