Problem accessing Internet via Wifi modem ZTE

Im using BSNL .Had a Nokia Siemens C2110 modem which broke down suddenly so a friend gave me his ZTE ZXDSL 531B. I simply connected it and got connected to the internet.But im not able to connect to net via wifi via my phone. Its showing the wifi name as ZTE ,im connecting to it and it shows connected but cant browse net.And i cant get into the router settings via 192.168.1.1 . Please help 🙁

If you are unable to access the router settings via 192.168.1.1 then it's best to start with reset or check the default gateways IP address(in case it was changed)

After resetting router would i need to reconfugure it using settings given by BSNL cuz i dont think i remember them. All i know is my user id and password which is password that i use in dial up to connect to internet,
