Hi All. I have set up my data one with D-Link 502T Modem. Now I am trying to set up my Netgear Wireless router ( WGT624) with it.problems faced , 1. When i install the netgear using the instructions it stops responding when it says " restarting your network".2. First time i could get the router login screen , but then i am not able to access it using 192.168.1.13. I realised that this is the same IP as that of the DLINK Modem. So i changed the DLINK modem IP , but still no gain !!!Some one please help !!! Otherwise I will have to sell / throw my new 108mbps netgear router !!Thanks-A

^ now are you able to login to the router & the modem ?
which address you are using for modem ?
you may see : changing router's IP

you will be able to configure 502T + WGT624 for your
system . someone will provide the guidance . It may take
a few days . dont worry ... ...

I can access the modem when the router is not connected. The minute I plug in my router i cannot connect to any of the devices and no internet is available.

I have tried to reset the router also but I guess there is someting else which I dont know is missing.

Thanks for the help..

Hey amit, this is just in case the posts didnt fix it. BSNL uses a PPPoE connection, so when Netgear router's configuration page asks you if your ISP requires a login name and password say yes, Now on MTNL the user name is your phone number and the password is your CA Number(you can look this up from ur phone bill). You can change your password to something else later from BSNL's website but the username is fixed.hope this helps...cheers

Phew.... 🙄 Finally my Netgear could manage to taste the net..the trick was in changing the ip address with a diff sub domain..

Thanks for that post u forwarded me Seshu..

And thanks to everyone who replied ..

Hey Austin..i did not require to enter my uid/pwd since they were already in the modem settings..but thanks anwyays..
