I bought Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight , which is even though available on Ebay.in , they are atleast 10% costlier than the price quoted in ISI (iShop International), ie if at all you are going to buy , you definitely cant get it at the price at which its selling in U.S

Yes the price it shows or the quote you get after submitting is almost final , unless there are changes , like NY tax , additional weight of the item etc. Do remember to get correct weight of the product , as the site requires you to enter in Pounds (lbs).

I wanted a good E-Reader (E-Ink) , and NST with Glowlight is the latest one with the Glowlight , as my reading are mostly at the night , this was the best product to get , although , you can get kindle at around 7K Rs i think or Ordinary Nook simple touch for that price.

You cal also call them and inquire if at all you any issues.

To be honest , any e-reader cant compete with the feel and reading pleasure in a real book.

I had a tablet for while and read a book on it and i can say , tablets or any LCD display device is totally unsuitable for reading for long hours. The closest thing you can get to read a book on any device is with e-ink and you can select any one of them , either kindle or Nook Simple touch , if you are going to read most of the time at day time. IMHO , NST with Glowlight , even though its atleast 50% costlier than normal Nook ST , its worth spending on it. Since you dont have to buy a separate LED reading light.

Glowlight is pleasant to read at night and its very subtle.

In short , this is my arrangement for comfort of reading .

Book > NST with glowlight > NST/Kindle (e-readers) ...........>Tablets
 
Amazon kindle is set to get an update which would feature improved display and night time reading. i suggest waiting for a couple of weeks.

PaperWhite backlight , hmm sounds interesting. I didnt go for Amazon kindle because of not much side bezel width. I have a big hand and it will almost hinder the screen while holding and reading. NST has a larger side bezel width.



Also the side button for navigation in NST is a added feature.

Anyway competition is good for this segment , we need more companies to jump in , micromax probably ? 😀
