Airtel 4G LTE Update

Some latest news from Airtel on 4g LTE:The CPE device would be costing Rs.4999 now. Plans will be as:999 Plan cash back of Rs.166 pm for 6 months1399 plan cash back of Rs.233 pm for 6 months1999 plan cash back of Rs.289 pm for 12 months2999 plan cash back of Rs.416 pm for 12 monthsI think this would be now more or less same price as the 3G plans. The biggest bottleneck of the device costing Rs7999 has been relatively reduced.I was about to go for a Airtel 3g Dongle + 3g wi-fi router which would have come to approx Rs.4000. Now I can spend Rs.5000 for the CPE Device which will have an inbuilt wifi router.The Airtel guys gave a demo at my place and at indoors, speedtest gave a download speed of 21Mbps (HSR Layout, Bangalore).Thought of letting you guys know.

Yes, CPE price is reduced and also there is a change in the cashback offers. As I remember, earlier the cashback offers extended for two years for the last two plans.

Once RIL launches its 4G service, price will be much less.

Reliance don't want to botch things up by launching their services without making sure they're prepared 100%.

Come to think about it .. good service launched later is better than buggy service launched earlier

Also even am waiting for infotel to launch 4G.
