Old Receiver?

Hi,I live in chennai & got a new Sun DTH HD connection couple of days back from a local dealer (found through google). The HD receiver which the dealer gave me is a big silver color one (Model: SN9100IR). It's remote is small & black (very simple & minimal features). My uncle had got Sun HD around 1.5 years back & he got a small HD receiver & a slim, long cool remote which has the capability to operate his samsung LCD TV as well.I am wondering if my dealer cheated me by giving me some old receiver. If yes, can I complain directly to sun direct or do something to get it changed?
