Indian Premier League Updates

As I said - Whatever the result, some percentage of people will say its fixed... Even if it had rained out, people would probably have claimed that the organizers had fixed a deal with the Almighty :sinister:

Typically Bookies use their influence to control the performance of a player or a few players. Some matches might have been fixed (by a player or few players) but its a common public perception that once people lose confidence, they doubt everything 🙂

100% agree on that , they can probably influence 1 or 2 players or do some sort of spot fixing, give a bad performance, but fixing a match requires atleast half the team , and that seems too far fetched considering that there is more to loose than gain... Especially with the scrutiny now.

Doing a victory parade in kolkata for KKR:excruciating: , bengalis have nothing better to do than line up for this useless parade in this heat? Its a meaning less domestic 20/20 cricket tournament , the team isnt even owned by a bengali , there was probably no bengali in the winning team ( i did not watch any games so correct me if i am wrong) , waste of time & money.

There were Bengalis, including matchwinner Manvinder Bisla, Laxmi Shukla, Manoj Tiwary & maybe 2-3 younger players who did not get a chance. But behaving like they just won the world cup is indeed going a bit over board

Oh ok, maybe a mistake from my side. I thought he had played for Bengal, guess I was wrong

Even if he played for bengal still dosnt make him bengali -

Manvinder Singh Bisla (born December 27, 1984 in Hisar, Haryana), is an Indian cricketer. Manvinder Singh Bisla made his debut in Ranji Trophy domestic cricket in the subsequent cricket season (2002/3) for his home state - Haryana. He moved to Himachal Pradesh in 2003/04 season as Ajay Ratra is part of the Haryana team and currently represents the HP in Indian domestic cricket.

Did anybody noticed clown in Red Kurta who looked more excited than Gambhir at Airport when team arrived. I guess he was TMC MP 🙂
I also share same thoughts as this - The embarrassing theatrics of Shah Rukh Khan | Firstpost

I guess for his knock against Deccan, including taking fellow countryman Steyn apart.

Now then 😕

Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee, Shah Rukh Khan party

"The KKR players were presented with gifts by the West Bengal government including blue and white embroidered scarves for each player, gold chain with 'Bengal loves you' inscribed on it and cake sandesh which resembled the team logo."

1 Lakh+ supporters gathered to witness the return of their players

Sorry I-PL haters, its here to stay 😕

Yes, they had & hence they allowed players to sign up the NZ contract with a clause to be fully available for IPL. Now that Eng is refusing to budge their schedule, this problem has risen.
