In2cable net 2MBPS unlimited (no fup) @ INR1340 per month!

hey i live in vadodara and applied for in2 broadband connection today and i have paid 1260 for 1 mbps plan ,i dont know why the prices here are so high as i see people in mumbai are getting 2mbps plan for 1360 and here it is 1260 for 1 mbps ...whom should i ask about this the in2 company itself or the guy who is providing me internet connection as i see no tariff plans are available on their website ,guess it is still under construction ....i applied for a connection yesterday and would like to know is it reliable ? and all the other factors such as ,customer service,speed,uptime ,from all aspect is in2 broadband is reliable??????????


i have been using in2net since a year. it gives me the promised speed. downtime is less. if there is any issue i call up the office and they solve it ASAP.

regarding the charges i dunno why it is so high in your area. are u getting the connection directly through the company indusind media or is it a local operator involved in this.

I do not know how service may be in other parts of my country india, but try them for two months and see if its good for you. do not believe this krishnet as i have a strage feeling , he is working for the in2 cable company guy. As for me, i have had the most horrible experience with in2 and 2mbps plan for 1350, basterd in2 also come any time of the month to take advance of the fees and even have the ordacity to cut you net connection any time of day stating you didnt pay the bill, even though the bill payment is not due according to the day you bought the service. I dont know, about your end , but in heart of mumbai city they suck like ass.. i wouldnt be suprised if they sucked in a remote city like vadodara. if you have problem , i suggest please turn to government internet, as they will give you the best service and internet of private players mostly come from the government. for now i have dumped in2 and am on 1mbps mtnl of government dsl and on 3mbps backup of reliance 3g/cdma
 
Umm, mtnl itself buys upstream from airtel/reliance/tata. Nonetheless, their plans are much better than airtel's and service is better than that of reliance. 😉Also, just because krishnet has had a good experience with in2 doesn't mean that he is working for them. I could be wrong though 😛
 
I will not touch these cable ISPs from far also even if they offer 2mbps at 100 bucks .. all these cable isps are thiefs and nothing else .. atleast in a reliance or airtel u can file complaints and get some action if u talk rudely to these cable guys they just threaten u back .. not worth the effort imho ...
 
YOU is a cable ISP 😉

When I say cable ISP I mean a connection given from the local cablewallah like incable , wincable , etc .. YOU is not a small organization .... Not praising YOU its no great deal but definately its not in the bracket of a cable internet connection ....

why do u assume things. and which area of mumbai are u from. in my area i always pay when the period of the plan is over. then only in2cable reactivates my account. if u are unhappy then u are open to change to another. i was once a user of hathway. they sucked in unlimited plans coz of FUP. i discontinued and got in2net. they improved in my area.

its coz of some people reliance has got the power to bribe the courts and block the websites. are we in democracy or some taliban country. why should we watch every crap movie in theater or purchase audio cd from market.

some cable ISps are not blocking sites like reliance and airtel does.

well hehe vadodara is not a remote area lol all isp all available here but unfortunetly 95 percent of their broadband services are not available in my society including ,you reliance,tikona,or bsnl evdo ....i hope for the best and my fingers are crossed i just hope their services here will provide me a good connection lets see ....will let you know guys if something good comes out for now am still waiting for the installation its been 2 days ....the local provider said he will come today evening and my connection will be installed ,apart from that the only connections available here in my society is from hathway and gtpl
 
well seems that you have a pretty great experience with in2 broadband i hope i will receive the same height of service the way you got.. i applied for the connection on saturday morning they immidiately came within a hour after my phone call to describe me the plans and take money for the installation i paid them aswell ...they promised me to install my connection by monday ,means today and its been one hour they have installed the connection so far their service and support is great ...they said to me that they will provide my username and password by today evening ...plus they provided me additional username and password of one of their colleagues so that i can use the internet untill i get my own user id and password ...so its really great and i have already downloaded 1 gb so far hahaha

thanks For the info dude but so far they have shown a good response and great customer support lets see how well it goes when it comes to bandwith but i would like to know if you have any idea regarding this -their cable is connected to my laptop's ethernet card i doubt they can access something on my laptop ? or they can have a look on what i am surfing,what sites i am visiting ,any kind of spy stuff ?should i buy a router will it be helpful? or it will make any difference?

hope it works well in days to come. the only thing is the high cost. but if u get total unlimited ie no FUP its good. u can take full advantage. next time pay money only after the time period expires of the current plan.

ya am happy i paid 1260 for 1 mbps but am getting speeds more than promised 🙂 this is the first time i took wireline broadband connection and am satisfied....
 
I'm happy for you. The speed is not the problem when I had in2cable, they do give more than promised too. It was with the downtime, I guess It could have been the branch that operates here in Kandivali maybe low-life's , Anyways I wont ever try a private player for my primary internet as I use it for my trading work, down-time during a serious trade means I may lose much much more than I pay for a ISP for the whole year in one go.I'm currently excited about the new MTNL FTH service with 20mbps and 150gb FUP and then 1.30MBPS Unlimited for NO FUP plan, maybe will upgrade from mtnl dsl to fiber next year.
 
Well Using in2 broadband cable over 9 months was a great experience ,overall am satisfied with their speeds i am using 1mbps plan and i pay 1270 rs monthly the prices over here are pretty high apart from that i hardly faced a downtime .offcourse there was couple of wire related problems but the service guy here fixed it very quickly .So after using it for 9 months with 99% uptime i feel good ,downloaded over 2.9 tb of data ,their services here in vadodara are 100 percent reliable , i wish the prices should be a bit lower , other broadband services are providing unlimited data @1mbps in 800rs such as you broadband but as a matter of fact that it comes with a hell of problems,downtimes,speed capping,wire tampering and some other common issues ...
in the end let me know if Any one else had good exp with this in2 broandband aka cables 🙂
