Modem User name & password...

HiI applied and got a new BSNL connection with broadband. My friend used BSNL modem & currently he is not using BSNL connection. I have taken his modem without doing any configuration I am using. I am able to browse the pages and internet connection is working fine. When I checked inside modem settings my friend's user name & password is available. While connecting internet I am using my new username & password which is provided by BSNL. Can you confirm the broadband usage will be on my account or my friends account? And how this will work? Please explain...

If VPI/VCI = 0/35 has your id and password, only that will work. Also if port binding is in place, your friend's ID and password will work only on his land line.
