@Geeth - It really depends on the network/connectivity in the area, based on the feedback on this forum & elsewhere. Try to find out how things are by checking with someone using it in the neighbourhood. Also, if you are going to be using it multiple locations, try to get a generic feedback. Get a Demo at your place before whichever service you opt for.

CDMA internet like Tata Photon /Reliance netconnect/MTS are crap speed wise.

If you buy data card with any CDMA operator mentioned above and that too Post paid,

you will end up in 'Mana Nala Purapiniyalar Maruthuvamanai" ( Kilpauk mental hospital for non Tamilians) after calling their customer service endlessly compalining about speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

speed wise- GSM 3G is King!!
( get unlocked Huawei/ZTE 7.2 mbps data card from ebay for less than Rs 1350)
I use 4 different 3G sims in 3 android smart phones+data cards...

Airtel 3g ; 500-900 kBps ( 3.5 to 7 mbps)
Aircel 3G : 300-500 kBps (1.5 to 4 mbps)
Voda 3G : 300-600 kBps ( 2 to5 mbps)
BSNL 3 G ; 120-240 kBps ( 1 to 2 mbps)

OK - MTS Customer Service India..... I am seeing a lot of user IDs being created from April-mid onwards who just have a single post praising MTS or asking a simple question & you are giving your wonderful standard response... Frankly speaking, I get the feeling it might be you who is doing it.. If it happens to be so, stop doing it.. Its irritating...Is that a valid & Official MTS Customer Care number & email ID? If so, can you point me a link to the website link which has that number?
