Never Go For Tata Sky!!

I have been a TS HD+ subscriber since 2011. Never faced this issue even once. I use an Onkyo 5.1 receiver and yes... I view the music channels - even the HD movies - with the sound output exceeding 90dB. Completely satisfied with TS. Yes, the number of HD channels is less but that is about to change once the shift to Vertical polarization is done.
 
The problem is that the HD channels buy default play in 5.1 as opposed to Stereo. I noticed this difference when I facing a similar problem relating to audio on HD channels. It was as though the center speaker was missing, and the SFX was overriding the Vocals. I connected my Onkyo 5.1 HT system and walah, it started working fine. This is on my Tata Sky HDDVR. And these type of problem occurs more on the NGCHD and Discovery HD , but not so much on the Star HD channels or the Sports HD channels. But the difference is definitely visible/audible.Calling TS for this is no use. I'm sure they're aware of the problem and maybe a firmware/software update might solve the issue. And I know that its not feasible for everyone to have a 5.1 System at their disposal, but that's something that you'll have to be patient with and hope for the best. I've been TS for over since 2005, they have the best CC and Service backup out there. Everyone would have a had a different experience with TS and even sometime in between, I also had a bad experience, but then, isn't that the case with every CC of every Cmpy out there? Lets just say that being patient and loyal does help. Cheers and God Bless
