Since it's connected to the internet all the time, I suppose.
I am wondering how many people would be working on hacking the system and they would have complete access to every bit of someone's personal life.

For one.
You don't keep your phones camera turned on all the time, but you have this device sitting on your nose looking at what your eyes are looking at?
As of now, nobody knows what operating system is the device really is running but, people would be real curious to do something about it once they get a hold of it.

for one. a malware app can run your camera without you even knowing it. there are no indicators on the phone that shows that your camera is active right? this is how security apps are able to show you the photo of who stole your phone and so on.
secondly, the device shuts down if it is not in use. it is constantly in front of you so you know what it is doing. google probably would not allow as much freedom on glass as it does on android phones and tablets. for example, apps cannot have ads right now and so on. everything is passed through google servers. they are not allowing bypassing this right now.
thirdly, google has confirmed that it is running on android.

Has Google confirmed it already? I read last week that there are rumors but no official word.
Well, if your PC gets compromised then a RAT can easily monitor every single thing you are doing, turning on your webcam, anything.

We cannot deny vulnerabilities really.

In most of the webcams, a light also glows when you turn on the webcam which isn't the case with google glass.
