today i got a call frm sify that my Total data transfer is 50 mb frm now on per day. 🙁 adn if any byte over that then one day from validity goes kaapish.adn when i asked what the f**k is this they say if u want to download then switch to data transfer Package to hell with them . mother f**kers :angry: i am so anfry now that i can burn a hole in there head's rite now. so if anyone is readin this frm sify then better get out of here if i get ur id then ur dead (yes i am ready to go to jail , for a noble cause)
 
What the hell? Is this on an unlimited pack? They have got to be the worse ISP in India. Can' they take a hint?
 
yeah u read it rite those retards r imposing them on the unlimited package.To save my account i press ESC in b\w loadin of pages to save evry byte.now i cant even play Q3 for more than 3 hrs a day as it consumes 65mb in that time. so no gaming , no voice chatting, no downloadin, no viwin clips, no webcam, damn f**kin no life :angry:
 
If this is the case then it seems MTNL/BSNL broadband has done more damage than good with their limited download packages, by making Sify even more miserly with their bandwidth. Sify seems unbelievably rotten. How will they survive? I am ready to go back to dial-up with all this bullsh*t at this moment lol.
 
What??Are you sure that is true?I have downloaded 4 linux distro's in the past few days, so if its true my pack should have ended already.However, my account details still shows the proper expiry date.If what you say is true, this is the worst low any ISP can go.

thnx fro the Email id gonna do that soon , i called up my BA frm sify . he says f**k those retards he says even they r sufferin at the hands of sify.Evrby is dissatisfied except sify. :angry:
 
I guess BAs are dissatisfied. Could even be this is being a lossy business for them. That's why they are not giving much attention to it. Like my BA who doesn't care about attending to network outages or even renewing my account. More than 1 week I am without my account now 🙁
 
hah! dissatisfied my a**.. it's the cl@$$ic indian blame game.. when in trouble blame something else.. my cto could make my life a lot easier if he wanted to

I visited that site .. http://www.trai.gov.in/contacttry.htm and e-mail mentioned there is trai@del2.vsnl.net.in
I have written a very strong mail against SIFY being so idiotic and irresponsible towards its customers. Specially against the Local ISPs that Sify appoints (franchisee people, they s*ck badly) and Sify's Customer service department.

Please do the same, hope it helps users in some way.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but go for another ISP. Even bsnl/mtnl if you have to, because sify doesn't deserve your cash 😉.
