Anyone Using 949 Plan?

MTNL 512 combo unlm + TATA 1 Mbps UNLM
If so what speed do you get? minmum/average/maximum ?And if anyone wants to switch from 400mb plan to 949 plan do they charge extra ?
 
I have applied for. They said it will be activated from the first of next month. Contrary to what was told by one of the members, they do not change the plan kid cycle. They do that only for Landline plans and not for Triband connection.
 
Why they take so many days for installation, Geez I mean wire is already in our home they just need to plug the router and thats all.
 
^^^Paperwork buddy, file going from this table to that table and then connection is finally approved, it takes time, that's why they say "MTNL hai to sahi hai..." :lol:
 
MTNL = Mera TRIBAND nahi Lagega !!!coz triband Ultd plan not yet introduced in mumbai 🙁 🙁 🙁
 
Hey btw wots with the 949 plan....it sez "till 30.09.2006 only" will the chages remain for ppl who take the conn before 30sep or will the plan charges change for them too ????

@ VIKING Whats speeds are you getting and anyone know if 949 plan still exists or got expired @ 30th sep ?

here are the speed i'm gettin on unlimited plan.... more or less constant 256 kbps

but the prob is i'm not able to change my IP.... anybody knows how i can do that?
the IP remains same even after switching off and on the modem... 🙁
 
if IP remains same.. its good isnt it?!!u can ur own webhosting mail hosting etc
