Please help, Im getting NAT error on port 4140 in Azureus and its not working although I can surf etc. I have:- changed to bridge mode- turned DHCP off- manual IP to 192.168.1.2 and the DNS settings as laid by Cyberwiz in the forum.I have left evrything else as is besides these in the D-Link router(like virtual server settings etc.)Do I need to change somthng in Azureus or other P2P?PLEASE, I wish to use Bridge mode. 🤔

If u switched to bridge mode correctly then there shouldnt be a NAT error coz bridge mode doesnt use NAT.U're sure u have put azureus in the exceptions of ur software firewall ?U could also try other clients like UTorrent and bitcomet...

eh? you dont have to do that!!if you just enable bridge mode... then there would be no nat error atall in azureus..why did you have to turn dhcp off?? and hmm oyu can use mtnl's dns server address.. they got no problems..i dont have any issues with nat when on bridge mode..

well i used to have problems with nat in bridge mode and then i turned it into dmz mode which fixed them.. dunno why..

Thanks guys,
1st, Cyberwiz I'm still having NAT probs in bridge mode, also azureus & other apps were already in exceptions in software firewall while in PPPoE mode(I shifted to Bridge for easy IP renewal). Following you I shifted to uTorrent(great 🙄 ) and first time it was ok but then it too showed NAT indicator not turn green for ok. Emule too doesnt work in bridge but as i swap back to PPPoE they work fine. I dont know what

U mean apps cudnt access ports in bridge mode?
DMZ- you may already know its - DeMilitarised Zone: means no security of router whatsover which means no access probs ie. bare nude naked internet/you facing each other. with that I/nybody can 'exploit' you. So its not recommended.

Well maybe my modem 502t is evil in bridge. maybe so
for time being, iam using PPPoE after switching b/w bridge tens of times.

while checking this 4 past few days I used up a lot, now Im left with 15megs for next 5 days to come.
