She does not of course feature on the world's richest people list. As per Business Insider, she might be world's fourth richest politician.

Sonia Gandhi needs to be in jail. A waitress by profession ! Husband's family is politicians. No one in business. Where did this money come from ! Give it back to India.

Sonia Gandhi may be rich but the Business Insider report is absurd. It's copy paste of this >> http://www.worlds-luxury-guide.com/Luxury-News/433295/List-Worlds-Richest-Politicians

World Luxury Guide as an authentic source!!! Which says sources as OpenSecrets.org, Forbes.com, Bloomberg.com, Wikipedia.org, Guardian.co.uk

First her net wealth listed as between 2 to 19 billion.. Talk of statistical variance errors!!!

Vladimir Putin's variance is even more.. $180,000 to 40 billion..

If these reports get more publicity in media, business insider may be looking at a multi billion libel suit which should succeed based on tough defamation laws abroad. Then of course, she will become a billionaire. Authentically!

So with unanswered questions about Sonia Gandhi’s future and Singh expected not to run again for the prime minister’s job, India looks to be a bit adrift. Hard decisions about economic reforms and investment rules have been postponed, and the economy has slowed. But the fundamentals of India’s rise to great power status have not changed. It is still certain to be one of the world’s largest economies in the 21st century, and its entrepreneurial talent is bound to make it a world leader. And it is far too early to count Gandhi out. She has been underestimated far too often in the past.
