Unable to Use Airtel 3G with Data Card

I am unable to use Airtel 3G card with my data card...I am able to connect to the internet on HSPA+ Network but speed I am getting is 24kbps to 40kbps and unable to browse any website or even open a website properly.APN Settings: Airtelgprs.comDial no. *99#Till last month it was working fine and was getting around 5MNps to 6MBps speeds now not more than 40kbps...with speed test I was getting configuration load failed.......lolzData card is working fine with MTNL 3G which is on HSPDA.....I contacted Airtel CC they did nothing but tell me same crap as expected of them sir please check your signal..the chic who I spoke to didn't even know what is APN .....

Could be a temporary glitch ?

Perhaps airtel wants you to use mtnl ?APN settings are fine. Did you contact airtel presence ?

I think you have recharged 2g pack on 3g activated sim ....Am i right ? i get same 40kbps on 3g mode........if i select only 2g mode, i get speeds between 180-220kbps.....i enjoyed 3g speeds on 2g packs for the last 8 months but now they have restricted speeds to 40kbps , only for those who activate gprs packs like 98rs on 3g activated sim.

If you have a 3G activated sim and you charge a GPRS 2G data pack,they make sure nowadays you dont want to choose HSDPA network with your data card set in "3G only mode".It will connect in HSDPA ,Ping will be around 130-150 (instead of usual 300-500 for Edge) but download speed capped between 40-80 kbps.Just choose "Edge/Gprs only" mode in your data card. you may get 120-220 kbps depending upon no of users /signal strength.Free 3G days are over. :secret:

yes guys i did the 2G pack recharge, Rs 60, 1GB for 14 days i didn't know craptel has capped it. Suxs!
