why The price of Kindle fire in India is INR 14,999 although the official price (in US) is $199 (10k)?approximately 5 thousand morethan its US price..There is lots of conversation and rumors over Kindle Fire’s exact price in India... don't know from where to buyi think i should wait for Aakash, the cheapest tablet
 
1. Kindle Fire is not supposed to be sold outside the US market. 2. There are expenses related to imports and custom duty. 3. The person/company importing it would want to make good money on it too. Kindle Fire would be a pretty useless device unless you install a custom mod on it. Buy a proper Android based Tablet if you really want to.
