The headliners are two quad-core tablets: the PF 100 and T98. The PF 100 has an Nvidia T30S 1.5Ghz quad-core CPU with an Icera 450 modem for HSPA connectivity, Android 4.0, and a 10.1-inch screen with WXGA resolution. There's 1GB of RAM and 16GB for storage and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. The T98 is a 7-inch version with the same processor and general specs, including the WXGA resolution on the smaller screen for higher pixel density, though it is TD-SCDMA.

The V96 is also a high-end tablet, though like everything LTE here at MWC, it's running on a dual-core Qualcomm processor instead of a Tegra 3 — it's clocked at a very healthy 1.7GHz, however. It's running Android 4.0 and has HSPA+ in addition to LTE. The rest of the specs are as you'd expect a 5-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage, and 1GB of RAM.

Rounding out the set is the V9S on the low end. It's a 10.1-inch tablet with a dual-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. Unfortunately and pretty much inexplicably, it's also stuck with Android 3.2 instead of Ice Cream Sandwich. It will connect to GSM and UMTS networks, but won't handle HSPA+.

The PF 100 and the T98 are two of a kind: with an Nvidia T30S quad-core processors clocked at 1.5GHz, Android 4.0, 16GB of storage and 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel cameras paired with a 2-megapixel camera on the front, and the usual array of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and modems. Where they differ is in size and quality: The PF 100 is a 10.1-inch tablet with TD-SCDMA and, at least when you look at the unit on display here at MWC, very thick and poorly put together. The T98, on the other hand, is rather handsome and much better put-together, with a textured back and support for UMTS. The PF 100's other advantage is that is has the exact same screen resolution as its larger sibling: 1280 X 768.

The Ice Cream Sandwich device runs a Qualcomm 1.7GHz MSM8960 dual-core Krait processor with 1GB of RAM and sports tri-band 42Mbps HSPA+ and quad-band LTE. ZTE mentioned that it is compatible with four LTE bands (!), including AT&T's flavors -- Verizon's band of next-gen connectivity, unfortunately, was not included on the list.
