What are default values for dns, subnet mask and default gateway in bsnl?

Hello everyoneI was surfing internet today and suddenly it stopped working. I checked the router page and under wan settings it showed authentication failure. Also the default gateway value was blank. I called customer care and they said to wait for a few min and it would restore again. What could be the reason for this? Also currently I am using google dns and automatic ip address settings. If I want to use default bsnl values what are they?

Everything is obtained automatically, set DNS to auto. You can't connect to a particular gateway, there are multiple gateways and they are alloted randomly.

Ohk. Few years back I remember airtel used to provide values themselves. Are those times gone?

Or I guess I had read somewhere that if you put 192.168.1.1 as default gateway it automatically picks a random gateway. (Something like that I am not sure).

If you're going to use BSNL DNS, might as well leave it on auto, I think it assigns you the DNS server closest to you.
