Hello Allzzz..Reliance is providing much better plans than this crap airtel company, Reliance is providing plans without any Fair Usage Policy. You can get 600kbps in day and 1MBPS in night just for 649 per month, where with airtel u get 256kbps for the whole month under 1000 (2mbps transfer limits do get's crossed in 1-2 days)There are other exciting plans too just check reliance websiteMe and all my friends have already applied for disconnection and sent a good big and abusive mail to airtel 😀Fck Airtel, Airtel should go to hell now, it's a pure piece of crap. do not support it, I wish whole India applies for disconnection.Come on guyz don't be mad, kick out airtel from your home now

Soon you'll be cursing reliance. Trust me on this 😉

Their quality of service tends to suck in most places (down times et al., sales guys taking the money leaving you waiting forever)and their customer care is known for being pretty bad. If reliance at your place isn't plagued by the above conditions, then, by all means, go for it.

i am used to getting 4mbps speeds for 150GB per month. please tell me if reliance has anything comparable.

I switched to Reliance from Airtel BB this evening. I am still keeping the Airtel connection for the next two months or so when I test the reliability and quality of service of Reliance. So far, it is acting in par with Airtel BB (maybe the placebo effect of the new connection)! It seems things have indeed changed a lot at the other camp. I opted to Reliance Broadband back in 2006 and used to face frequent disconnections, even I could see the DSLAM from my room (it was situated next door). Disgusted with such a pathetic situation, I terminated their services. After some years, I am back once again testing the waters..wish me luck 🙂

how much do u pay a month ? must be over 2000

very few people go for high monthly charges 9 out of 10 opts for plans at range of 500-1000

so for that range reliance is best at this time, at least we will not use airtel's crap 256kbps speed.

And I know that ur 150GB is just a crap, it reaches it's limit before u expect, and I also know that you have purchased more bandwidth from smartbytes and paid more.. so don't u think that airtel actually sucks ?

reliance has crappier plans for people who want faster speeds. last time i checked they had a plan costing around 2600 rupees that offered 8mbps for 80GB and then 1mbps. i find my current airtel plan much better in comparison. seriously. you might have your reasons to dislike airtel. i also have tons of my own reasons to dislike airtel (just google sushubh/operamaniac and airtel and you would see). but reliance is not even an option for me.

If i am going to get a connection without FUP and at greater than 256KBPS speed, i would definitely go for it and ditch this stone age 256KBPS airtel connection.

Having said that i have had some bad experience with Reliance a few years back.I just hope they have improved from there.

Same here. I need at least 2 MBPS. I used to have 1 MBPS post-FUP speeds for some time. Even that was a crawl when compared to 2 MBPS. Now that I'm used to 4 MBPS, I could just about tolerate 2 MBPS but anything less will suck.

To put it simple Airtel is for High class societies and reliance is for middle class like me...am i right? Whatever the speed is we need it below Rs.1000 exclusive of taxes.Anyone disagree on me?

why ? any strong reason ? Please tell me........
If ur lucky then u can survive with reliance. Max 10 days downtime for me within 1 year with reliance. Can u bear with it? With no FUP i never bothered about my torrrent upload ratio.

After 6+ yrs with airtel and got fupped with stupid bb plans i had only 2 options. BSNL & Tikona. I saw the poster ad of reliance when im on my way to home with BSNL BB form to fill in. Till this day i wont regret choosing reliance. Atleast im one of the happy end user for them.

That's what I said in the first post, if reliance works for you, I see no reason to go with airtel, unless ofcourse you want the 150GB plan. But all the people I know on reliance here in gurgaon are constantly cursing it.

Yeah..reliance offers almost same BB PLANS across India(not like Airtel whose plans differ from region to region) but they cant give the same good service everywhere.
