What is the cost of Media player, if i go with Media player, can i go for HD ready instead of Full HD TV.What is live tv 🙁

That is up to you. An HD ready tv will be able to display only upto 720p resolutions vs 1080p on full HD. Standalone media players of course can play 1080p comfortably, prices range from 3.5k for the Asus Oplay Mini. Simple player USB support. No networking. Wd live I guess costs 5-6k and has LAN support too.

^ HD ready (as the 720p/1080i TVs are usually called) will not be able to show the movies in 1080p format. You will need to set your output rate to 1080i or 720p in your media player to be able to view them

In that case I go for Full HD i think, because if i go to Full HD, then i dont need the worry about this...

You can of course play 1080p files even on a 720p TV, but it will be displayed @ 720p.

LG-32LK430 should play mkv files. If it has USB movie playback feature, it is likely to play mkv. The best way to check is to go to the showroom and check.BUT LG USB movie playback won't be able to play DTS audio. In that case, you'd need a HD media player like WD Live. Or you can connect a laptop or desktop to play the movies.

Go for a dedicated media player (WD, AC ryan, xtreamer). Get a HD ready or a full HD TV. At 32 it wont matter anyway.

What is the cost of the WD and segate Media Player, i check with my friend, he told that the price is around 9-10K.

I don't think there are any 1080p channels even in USA. They use either 720p or 1080i.

720p (p) and 1080i (i)...
whats the difference pixel interlace???
IMO, do we really require such a high definition for 40inch/42inch TV.
I might say yes to bluerays when the screen size is big - like in feets.

Not sure about Seagate but WD live player costs around Rs. 7300. Six months back, it used to be around Rs. 5800.

There are a few media players from Asus in the range of Rs. 3600 and Rs. 7300.

I've seen American TV shows and movies in both SD and HD. And yes, HD makes a lot of difference even on a 20" monitor.

@manu1919 thanksI just want to Play the file from External HDD. One question... Will AsusO play give better quality picture like WD and Seagate do?
