Mobile tariffs may increase further due to the rising operation cost in the coming year. Festive season is the perfect time to make or receive the highest number of inbound and outbound calls as well as greetings through text messages. A hike in call rates by 10 to 15 percent is expected after this holiday season is over, while cancellation of old tariff plan including voice, data schemes and pulse rates by the operators are on the board.

Please Don't Touch postpaid, Can Hike prepaid as they want. Already Postpaid is quite cheaper than prepaid 😛

Rental might be cheaper but what about call rates?

What I have seen till date is

Idea Postpaid Tariff seems to be good everywhere nowadays. Even the Blackberry plans are more economical as compared to Airtel and Vodafone.
 
Idea! Prepaid is Bullshit here and postpaid is far better.
I'm on !dea in BLR and and the service here is pretty good....
I'm on a sms pack which costs Rs.30 an month and they haven't charged me for it for about a year, 30p a minute and again haven't charged me for a year....only downside is, they send about 10 messages a day and call about 4 times....
