What will speed up processing power, Bigger L2 Cache or Greater FSB?

Hello people, I have a motherboard, MSI G41M-P26, to be prticular. I also have 2 GB DDR3 RAM of 1333 MHZ freq. My mobo supports 800/1033/1333 FSB CPUs. So i want to know what will make my pc fastest, FSB or Cache size of new CPU????? Also, can a CPU of 1066 FSB be used without errors with my mobo and RAM????? And one last thing please, if anyone of you is from india then can you pleaese give me the current market price of Intel's Core 2 Duo CPUs (currently available in Indian market) in 2012?????Please, if anyone helps me, i will be greatly thankful.Thanks.
 
intel core 2 duo 2.93ghz is for 6000 rupees approx in nehru place market, new delhi.
 
you cannot simply compare fsb and l2 cache with each other. also if u put a higher fsb ram/proc etc in a low fsb board it will run at the lower fsb only. ur board supports lga775 pin processors. so make sure u get one of those. also the ram runs synchronous with the cpu. the actual cpu fsb is 1066/4 (the fsb is quad pumped for the cpu and dual for the ram)so 1066/4 = 266mhz . so u r ram will run @ 266x2= 533mhzthe actual freq of the ram u mentioned is 1333/2=667. so to get the best out of ur system u need to overclock the fsb so tht cpu :ram=1:1however overclocking will void ur warranty.

The 1st one is E7500 (1066MHz, 2.93 GHz, 3 MB L2 Cache), price- Rs.5800/- to Rs.6800/-

The 2nd one is E8400 (1333MHz, 3.0 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache), price- Rs.9000/-

Now please tell me can i use E7500 as its FSB is 1066 bit my mobo says it supports only 800/1033/1333 FSB???

And are the prices decent or too much more??

i wud go with the e7500 coz the price difference does not justify the extra 0.7mhz in speed and 3 mb extra cache.
 


Instead of the E8400, get a DH61WW + i3-2100Costs about the same, and you will get a newer architecture and better power/performance ratio
