Awesome plan. It seems Bangalore are the next lucky chaps after Hyderabad. South India moving ahead than the rest as always. When will other cities or other ISPs wake up. 🙁 If ACT can do well, then bigger ISPs will also vanish in Bangalore very soon. WTH do such plans not come to the top 2 cities viz. Delhi and Mumbai. Even dreaming of such plans in Guwahati is not possible I suppose.

nice pans but Same word again from me "Act is not covered in most of major places"
 
How is the QoS of these operators?Because for most people thats one of the most important aspect of a broadband connection

Its been some 18Months for them in the market. Surely Would Take time to cover single Freaking Area. Beam provided the connection in my area after 3 years(2005-2008) coz they had issues with LCO. Simple. Wait.
Even I was tempted to Take Beam then, Cos they were offering 96kbps for 400 then no one was offering for that Price. I struggled with BSNL, Hathway for 3 years and Here's Beam now Covered 85% of the Hyderabad

Yes my friend, waiting is what we Bangaloreans are doing the best, since the Railwire's time !
 

It s a good news , though i havent got any info from ACT as yet. but like have said their Rs value is very tempting, their availability has serious flaws. So i dont think we can write off all other ISPs would vanish.But this experience with ACT what i have discovered is that, at a cost of premium customer, traditinal ISPs can offer some discounts on their existing plans. I am also informed, they are re-thinking about their plans.

This plan has more FUP limit (50GB) compared to beam at same point (30GB FUP) . .But lame after FUP speed

I doubt that users will reach that high FUP. See how Airtel such money. Compared to Airtel Plan this is 1000 times better

999+ 10.3Tax = Rs.1100 The plans sucks compared to Beam.
 
Airtel really needs to get an intensive kick in its nut$, they should start rebuilding their godforsaken expensive tarrifs. But their customer care has the best so far hands down!
 
ooh. when was the last time you actually used their customer care?

About 20 days ago if memory serves me right. They've always been at my door in no time after I talk to the CC. I don't know what it's like in other cities.
