Best Film: Don 2 (Singham deserves it but it's not even nominated.)
Best Director: Imtiaz Ali - Rockstar
Best Actor Male: Ajav Devgn - Singham
Best Actor Female: Vidya Balan - The Dirty Picture
Best Supporting Actor: Farhan Akhtar - ZNMD
Best Supporting Actor Female: Rani Mukerji - No One Killed Jessica
Best Music Director: AR Rahman - Rockstar

Blah really. Awards over the last few years, particularly Filmfare, have tried to appeal to the 'senses' rather than the masses, like they would earlier. Which is a shame according to me. None of the movies which got major awards yesterday night were accepted whole heartedly by the audience. They might as well telecast these awards in high end multiplexes where people who would appreciate these awards can watch it.
 
Awards are useless these days. The Producer/ Director who spends more in a particular function takes away all the honors.Few days back i was watching Screen awards......it clearly appeared that Ekta had bought it out. Other movies hardly won few awards.So these days i watch these functions only for the acts in between awards.....and that too, if i have enuf time to spare, which is not the case most of the times.

They didn't deserve any award! I said SRK's camp, which includes Farhan, Hrithik and Priyanka!

these movies were definitely not made for awards. these were made purely for financial gains.

of course, SRK is past that stage where he could wow the crowd with a romantic hero. so he is now just focusing on masala movies which do well financially.

Hehe, if he had spent for that, then he wud have reported losses on atleast 1 of the 2 movies! 😀
 
SRK has too much clout in the industry man. I wonder what he takes in return for hosting the event in the first place.
 
Considering he didn't win any award, it might be to the tune of 3 - 4 crores. My guess really. He charges a crore or two for hosting private events.
