The 10mbps plan actual speed is much lesser, you can get upto 10mbps but not guaranteed and drops as more users use them.

To date i haven't seen the speed test giving me more then 7.xx mbps and mind you i stay barely 400 meters from their main server.

still best Deal 😀

@adder U already use BBNL? I have the connection from Delta-net (Cable operator) who get it from BBNL (ISP). BBNL may have some limitations but as I have seen with delta-net till now, no issues with speed and reliability whatsoever.Previously was using the spectranet plan but from Delta-net. It was as usual stable and speed as promised.Actually after using Airtel for 3 years, I found a similar ISP with absolutely no downtime. Irrespective of the speeds, am very happy.

Dont think anyone other than BEAM provides high upload speeds. I guess ACT does have FUP, which is not the case here...

Anyways in my area there is no issue of cable wire menace.

Yup. Modem has been provided.

Did you also had this modem before? This is Same like the YOU Broadband Technology I guess! :tranquillity (2):

Hi, moindear i was thinking about getting a connection from bbnl since the tata wimax connection which i am using now is insufficient and their 1mbps plans are too expensive... i stay in rt nagar...so need to know a few details about bbnl before migrating. first do they suffer from any down time? secondly how fast they are at rectifying any issues in case if there are any? and last is their speed stablei mean i dont want 10mps on dot always do their speed fluctuate widely?any additional info on this regard would be really helpful...thank you in advance...

Better go with Delta-net cable operator.Been using bbnl connection from them since 3-4 months and only downtime was for a day when there was some issue with cable. I have used Airtel for 4-5 years and I think this is better than Airtel with hardly any downtime. If u take the BBNL connection from delta-net, there will be no FUP.Speed is around 9 Mbps, not much fluctuations. In torrents the normal speed is around 900-1000 KBPS for a good torrent. If you use IDM for downloads, u will get close to 10mbps.Their CC is really good, typically 1-2 hrs. I have been using internet from this cable operator since 2 years+, and it is the same time for resolution. Delta-net telephone no is 080-23531515
